ATC4401-1 ATC Transponder
The ATC 4401 has been designed as a part of the Becker Compact Line for all aircraft and helicopters where small dimensions and light weight are essential. It has the same look and similar size as the successful transceiver AR 4201. The mounting behind the panel is as simple as for the AR 4201. 2 & 1/4 inch hole. Outstanding performance combined with low power consumption is provided in two certified versions
ATC 4401-250 with min. 250 Watt transmit power ATC 4401-175 with min. 175 Watt transmit power
Both versions are state of the art designs with fully transistorized transmitters and compliant with
the current, most stringent operating standards. The ATC 4401 is of course certified according JTSO and TSO regulations. The sunlight readable display is illuminated for night operations. The display shows in addition to the transponder code also the current flight level, if an encoding altimeter is connected and Mode-C is selected. Despite the small size, the operation is simple and straight forward. It even allows the one button recall of two preselected codes. The ATC 4401 operates from 9.5 to 32.2 V DC. This makes it suitable for almost every application in general aviation. A standard encoding altimeter or blind encoder can be connected.
BXP6401 Mode-S Transponder
The BXP6401-1-(01) is a compact and lightweight single block Mode-S transponder. It is certified according to ETSO-2C112a and is suited for VFR and IFR operations up to 50,000 feet!
The transponder is equipped with extended squitter and SI code function and it provides an interface to the central aircraft data system. It allows ELS, supports EHS, as well as ADS-B via extended squitter. The BXP6401-1-(01) is designed for panel mounting and fits into a 2 ¼ inch cut out.
A split version is also available.
BXP6403 Mode-S Transponder
The BXP6403-1-(01) is a compact and lightweight single block Mode-S transponder. It is certified according to ETSO-2C112a and is suited for VFR and IFR operations up to 50000 feet.
The transponder is equipped with extended squitter and SI code function and it provides an interface to the central aircraft data system. It allows ELS, supports EHS, as well as ADS-B via extended squitter.
The Mode S ICAO address and additional fixed data are stored in a separate address module, AM6400-1-(01), which is plugged on to the transponder and remains in the aircraft when the transponder is exchanged.
The BXP6403-1-(01) is designed for slide-in mounting (tray available) and fits into a 160.3 x 41.28 mm cut out. The use of an adapter (available as accessory) allows for retrofit in a KT 76 A tray.
Panel inscriptions and sunlight readable display can be illuminated and dimmed for night operation. The display shows the actual settings.
The range of power supply voltage and the low power consumption make this transponder suitable for a wide range of aircraft.
The transponder is prepared for the connection of blind encoders from different manufacturers. The encoder can be connected to the transponder by a serial or parallel interface.
AR4201 VHF Transceiver
The new, extremely small and light-weight transceiver offers 760 channels and is certified for use in VFR and IFR equipped aircraft. Even smaller and lighter than its forerunner - the legendary AR3201 - it is ideal for installation in gliders, motor gliders and small aircraft due to its low power requirement and 2 1/4 inch round panel cutout. Due to the implementation of the most modern technology it has been possible to minimize the depth of the module, including the connector, to less than 9 inches. The equipment has an output of 5-7 Watts carrier (16 W PEP). A standby frequency and 99 memories can be easily programmed and recalled. The AR 4201 has an intercom, panel-lighting, voltage indicator, an AF-input as well as an automatic test-routine as standard functions.
Two dynamic and two standard microphones can be connected without any alterations. The clear display shows the active frequency and either the standby frequency, the memory channel used or the supply voltage and also the external temperature (with the optional temperature sensor).
Using the RS-232 interface, all functions can be remotely operated. With this standard feature, the AR 4201 can be easily integrated in future Becker Avionic Systems.
This equipment is useful in a wide range of aircraft and is also optimal for use at flying schools and flying clubs, who place a lot of value on quick, safe and simple operation.
