• SPA400/600 Intercom

The Intercom That Set The Standard
Sigtronics pioneered the voice activated intercom market in 1974 and continues to deliver value and performance today in the 4 or 6 place FAA TSO approved SPA-400 / 600 intercom series. With fail safe features that allow pilots to always hear the radio even if the intercom is off, and radio priority that assures ATC only hears the crew member transmitting, the SPA intercom series is the standard by which all others are judged. Individual Mic Bias Allows The Use of Different Brands of Headsets
General aviation headset microphones draw power from the intercom or radio mic line. Some poorly designed intercom systems hook all the headsets to one mic line so that all the headsets must share the same power. Because different headsets have different power requirements, one headset may draw just enough power to work but there may not be enough power left over for any of the other headsets to function. With this type of design two identical headsets will work most of the time but get different types and models then you will have a problem. The only way to fix this is to modify or replace the intercom system with one that uses separate mic input lines. All Sigtronics intercom systems use separate mic input lines and do not have this problem.

Compact Size
Choose either rectangular (horizontal or vertical) or circular faceplate mounting configuration to fit anywhere in the cockpit. With a compact 2.5" x 1" sized panel, the SPA system will easily fit in the tightest panels. All installation hardware including jack kit and pre-wired harness are included.

High Noise Environment N Series
The SPA-400N / 600N FAA TSO approved High Noise Environment Intercom Series is designed specifically for experimental, ultralights, warbirds, helicopters, and other high noise aircraft. Push to intercom as well as voice activated intercom is available as desired. Tested by Sigtronics at ambient noise levels of between 115-120 decibels, the SPA-400N / 600N outperformed all other intercoms on the market, panel mounted as well as portable.

• SCI-S Stereo Music Pilot Isolate Intercom

Dual Everything! The Sigtronics four and six place SCI-S Series intercoms are voice activated stereo Intercoms with dual volume, squelch and three modes of operation: All, ISO, and Crew. Dual Music Inputs
Pilot / Copilot and passengers can choose their own music and have it automatically muted with incoming radio traffic or when the intercom is used. Use Satellite Radio, MP3 or CD players as your audio source with stereo headsets for true stereo sound. When radio / intercom use is ended the music will gradually return. With the dual volume controls you control the volume of both front and back seats from one position. We have also added the extra volume you wanted. The dual squelch controls let you set the squelch of the front and back seats, and with dual squelch indicator lights you know instantly which position to adjust — no more guess work.

Pilot / Crew Isolate
Use pilot isolate ( ISO ) to allow the pilot alone to talk to ATC, and crew isolate ( Crew ) to talk to your copilot while your passengers enjoy their own conversation or music. Use the All switch position to allow everyone to talk together. And like all Sigtronics intercoms, the SCI-S Series has our exclusive fail-safe feature. By placing the intercom in the ISO mode of operation, the pilot’s microphone and headphone are routed directly to the aircraft radios.

Small Size
You will only need a 1” by 2.5” panel space for this powerful intercom that can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. By using your existing interface cable and a second pre-wired harness for music inputs and headphone outputs, the SCI-S is designed to make upgrading from a SPA-400 / 600 easy with a minimum of rewiring. All hardware including new stereo headphone jacks are included with this easy to install intercom.

We engineer all of our products the right way to prevent RFI and EMI interference, no need for expensive shielded cable to make up for poor design. SCI FAA TSO approved Series intercoms carry a 5 year parts and labor warranty.

• SCI-4/6 Stereo Pilot Isolate Intercom

All the features of our stereo pilot isolate series in an FAA TSO approved intercom only (no music capability) package. The SCI-4 four place and SCI-6 six place offer dual volume and squelch, three modes of operation: All, ISO, Crew, and includes our fail-safe feature. By placing the intercom in the ISO mode of operation, the pilot’s microphone and headphone are routed directly to the aircraft radios.
